On Site First Aid Training Courses
For groups of 8-48 people dependent on the selected course. Significant cost savings if numbers merit this discounted approach. Group certificate is provided for display purposes. Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW)HSE Certification. Valid for three yearsThe shorter course for workplace First Aiders when the first aid needs assessment shows this to be the most appropriate. Topics range from accident management to resuscitation, treatment of unconsciousness, seizures, choking, shock, bleeding and minor burns.Six hours exclusive of breaks.Basic Emergency First AidCertificate of competence. The course most frequently selected for "Appointed Persons" and First Aiders who require a broad skill base but do not need an HSE certificate. Topics range from accident management to resuscitation, treatment of unconsciousness, seizures, choking, shock, bleeding, burns, breaks and everyday minor injuries or medical emergencies specific to the individual environment. Six hours exclusive of breaks. Everyday First Aid (For schools)Certificate of attendance. For staff supporting the main First Aider(s) Playground injuries and accidents up to the care of fitting or unconscious children. Usually three hours. Annual Refresher or Lifesaver First AidRecommended by the Health and Safety Executive for all approved First Aiders. Certificate of competence. Life saving skills - choking, unconsciousness, resuscitation and severe bleeding. Relevant to all occupational areas. Three hours. Paediatric First Aid to meet Ofsted and the Early YearsFoundation Stage requirements for under five year olds.Certificate of competence. Full coverage of the Early Years Foundation Stage syllabus. Two day/twelve hour course Parents First Aid An informal course describing and demonstrating the necessary first aid skills to care for children, including child and infant resuscitation. Question and answers encouraged throughout. Two - three hours
